What is a skin boosters treatment?

Skin boosters are a new excellent treatment to boost the skin and give a beautiful rejuvenated look.  It acts as in internal moisturiser or skin booster to improve skin quality, texture, and appearance. It is perfect for treating dull, tired-looking skin; fine line and wrinkles; and areas of skin damage, for example from acne or sun damage.

Are skin boosters like dermal fillers?

Skin boosters do not act like dermal fillers. They are made from lightweight hyaluronic acid gel which is placed into the skin layers to hydrate the skin and stimulate new natural collagen production.

How does it work?

Tiny injections of skin booster are placed in the areas of concern at skin level and not deeper (like dermal fillers). The light weight hyaluronic acid molecules writhing the skin booster will then draw in water and moisture from the body to hydrate the area of skin that has been treated.  The effects of the treatment usually take up to 4 weeks and can last up to 9 months to give the skin a more plump and healthier glow.

How long does the procedure take?

The actual procedure takes approximately 20 minutes to complete the small injections in the appropriate places. Your appointment will usually be booked for around 1hr  to make sure there is plenty of time to discuss your medical history, aftercare instructions and to ask as many questions as you need and also to numb the skin before hand depending on the application being carried out.
