A carbon laser facial can do wonders for your skin! This 30-minute laser peel uses an organic, detoxifying carbon mask with potent anti-oxidants to micro-exfoliate skin. Together, the laser and carbon mask vaporise dirt and remove bacteria for softer, smoother and more radiant skin. The result is a Hollywood red carpet ready skin look and feel!

Carbon laser treatment is one of the most-loved non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatments. Because of the lack of downtime and immediate results, there aren’t many treatments as efficient at achieving a youthful complexion as a carbon facial. 

Activated carbon powder and an advanced laser are used to exfoliate and resurface the skin. It can also be great at addressing redness, blackheads, rosacea, acne, dehydrated and dull skin. Our carbon facial exfoliates the skin four times deeper than a peel and remains non-invasive. 

 

IPL Skin Treatments

IPL feels a little like a rubber band snapping against the skin. A patch test is performed before the start of treatment and a number of treatments are normally required to achieve a satisfactory result. Goggles are worn to protect the eyes and then a layer of gel is applied to the skin, the IPL applicator is then applied and repeated pulses of light are directed onto the affected skin. Each pulse can cause a slight sting or burning sensation. Numbing cream is not usually applied as it can impair the results but can be offered if required. Following treatment, there may be some redness and swelling and occasionally blistering. As with all laser treatments, there is a small risk of burning or pigmentation changes.

IPL Laser For Acne
Our IPL acne treatment can greatly improve the skin’s appearance, reducing acne while at the same time treating redness and pigmentation. A special acne filter eliminates acne causing bacteria, reduces inflammation and excess sebum production. It also targets red and brown marks on the skin to improve scarring and blemishes. 
IPL is suitable to treat mild to moderate acne. A treatment plan will be advised following consultation but is typically a course of 6 treatments (may be followed by a treatment every 2-3 months to maintain results if needed).

IPL Vascular Therapy
IPL for Vascular can be used to effectively treat broken capillaries, spider veins, red spots, cherry angiomas and rosacea. The IPL treatment works by blasting damaged vessels back into the bloodstream, allowing the body to reabsorb these vessels a few days after treatment. Immediately after treatment the area reddens and may feel like sunburn for 2-12 hours and some swelling of the vessels may be seen. If large areas or many vessels are being treated, significant swelling can occur. Rosacea redness will decrease after one week. Broken capillaries (spider veins) disappear or go darker, then fade in 1-2 weeks

IPL For Lines and Wrinkles

It’s not just damage that can be repaired with an IPL skin rejuvenation treatment, as this can also help to reduce the signs of ageing too, including fine lines and wrinkles. The IPL treatment uses light waves which can deliberately target loose collagen deep within the skin tissue. This will be removed by the body immediately, but new collagen will also be stimulated and reformed for increased facial structure and volume. This can replace the volume lost around fine lines and wrinkles which in turn leads to smoother, younger looking skin.

IPL Laser Pigmentation Removal
Laser Pigmentation Removal works to safely and effectively reduce the appearance of freckles, pigmentation, and post-trauma pigmentation including acne scars and age spots. The laser targets only the pigmented lesion in the skin which absorbs the light, without damaging the surrounding skin. The laser heats up and shatters the pigment. The pigment is then drawn to the surface without harming the surrounding tissue.

Once drawn to the surface, the pigmented lesions will fade or dry and flake off the treated area, leaving the skin with an even tone and complexion.
